How to Check Mail in WoW

The mail feature in WoW allows players to:

  • Receive letters, items, and gold from NPCs and Blizzard
  • Receive items and gold from the auction house
  • Exchange letters, items, and gold with other players.

To check your mail,

1. Go to the nearest town or city.

2. Click the “Tracking” button above your minimap.

3. Ensure you’ve selected the “Mailbox” option.

4. Run or fly around the town/city until you see a mail icon on your minimap. If you can’t find one, try going to a different town/city.

5. If you see a mail icon on your minimap, move your character to that location.

6. Right-click the mailbox.

7. Ensure the “Inbox” tab is selected.

8. Left-click each mail item to learn more about it or collect any attachments.

9. In the “Take Attachments” section, click any gold or items that you want.

How Do You Know When You Have Mail?

When your character has mail in their inbox, a mail icon will appear to the right of your minimap.
