How to Install, Update, and Delete WoW Addons

Installing Addons
To install addons for WoW,
1. Exit World of Warcraft if you have it open.
2. Download CurseForge if you haven’t already.
3. Open CurseForge.
4. On the “Choose a Game” screen, choose “World of Warcraft”.
5. In the top-right corner, use the dropdown to select a version of WoW.
For each addon that you’d like to install,
6. Use the search bar to find the addon that you’d like to install.
7. In the “Action” column, click the “Install” button.
8. When you’re done installing addons, exit CurseForge.
9. Log in to your World of Warcraft account.
10. In the bottom-left corner of the character screen, click the “Addons” button.
11. In the pop-up window, check the box next to each addon that you want to enable. Then, click the “Okay” button.
Updating Addons
To update WoW addons that you’ve installed via CurseForge,
1. Exit World of Warcraft.
2. Open CurseForge.
3. On the “Choose a Game” screen, choose “World of Warcraft”.
4. In the top-right corner, use the dropdown to select a version of WoW.
5. For each addon you want to update, click the “Update” button in the addon’s row.
Deleting Addons
To delete WoW addons that you’ve downloaded via CurseForge,
1. Exit World of Warcraft.
2. Open CurseForge.
3. On the “Choose a Game” screen, choose “World of Warcraft”.
4. In the top-right corner, use the dropdown to select a version of WoW.
5. Right-click each addon you want to delete and click the “Delete Addon” option.
