How to Change Your Language in WoW

World of Warcraft offers a variety of language options for both accessibility and roleplaying purposes.

Changing Your Interface’s Language

To change the language displayed on your interface,

1. Click the Game Menu button in the bottom-right corner.

2. Click the “System” button.

3. Select the “Languages” tab.

4. Use the “Text” and “Audio” fields to select your desired language.

5. Click the “Apply” button and then click the “Okay” button.

6. Restart your game to apply your changes.

Changing Your Character’s Language

If your character is of a bilingual race, you can change their language by:

1. Clicking the chat bubble button in the bottom-left corner

2. Mousing over the “Language” option

3. Selecting the language you want your character to speak.

When you /say something, your message will be incomprehensible to players who do not speak that language.

The word “Hi” in Pandaren translates to “Om” for non-Pandaren players.
