‘Friend or Fowl?’ Achievement Guide

Preparation

1. Ensure your minimap is set to show the location of your current target.

2. Create and keybind the following macro.

/cleartarget
/tar Fjord Turkey
/stopmacro [dead][noexists]
/run SetRaidTarget(“target”, 8)

The macro above will target the nearest living Fjord Turkey (if possible) and mark it with a skull.

If you have an instant-cast ranged ability, add it to the very bottom of the macro. For example, I used the following macro on my Frost Death Knight.

/cleartarget
/tar Fjord Turkey
/stopmacro [dead][noexists]
/run SetRaidTarget(“target”, 8)
/cast Howling Blast

How to Get the Achievement

1. Travel to the area just southwest of the Explorers’ League Outpost in Howling Fjord.

2. Ensure no other players are currently killing Fjord Turkeys in the area.

3. Use your macro to start finding and killing turkeys. The closest living Fjord Turkey will be marked with a skull. In addition, its location will be shown as a yellow circle on your minimap.

4. Don’t stop killing Fjord Turkeys until you’ve received the achievement.
