Preparation

1. Create and keybind the following macro (created by Wowhead user AeonisX). Use this macro anytime this guide tells you to “search for X” or “love X”.

/love
/cleartarget

You may find it helpful to remove a “/tar [Critter Name]” line from the achievement each time you /love a critter. This prevents your character from targeting a critter that you’ve already /loved.

2. Battle pets count for this achievement, so if you have any of the battle pets above, summon them, /love them, and remove them from the macro above. Skip any sections of the guide below as necessary.

How to Get the Achievement as Alliance

1. Start by the portals in the Mage Tower in Stormwind City.

Shattrath City – Ewe

2. Take the portal to Shattrath City.

3. Go to the area below the northern bridge.

4. Love one of the Ewes.

Borean Tundra – Borean Frog, Steam Frog

5. Take the portal from Shattrath City to Stormwind City.

6. Take the portal to Dalaran, Northrend.

7. Fly to Taunka’le Village in Borean Tundra.

8. Love one of the Borean Frogs just west of the village.

9. Love one of the Steam Frogs just north of the village.

Stormwind City – Squirrel

10. Return to Stormwind City.

11. Run outside the Mage Tower.

12. Search for a Squirrel in The Mage Quarter and love it.

Northern Barrens – Gazelle, Prairie Dog

13. Take the portal from Stormwind City to Mount Hyjal.

14. Fly to The Crossroads in the Northern Barrens.

15. Search for a Gazelle and a Prairie Dog in the outskirts of the town and love each one.

Durotar – Toad, Hare, Swine

16. Fly to the Southfury Watershed in Durotar.

17. Search for a Toad and love it.

18. Fly to one of the two farms outside Orgrimmar.

19. Search for a Hare and a Swine and love each one.

Elwynn Forest – Rabbit, Cow, Deer, Fawn, Cat, Sheep, Small Frog

20. Return to Stormwind City.

21. Fly to the road between Goldshire and the gates of Stormwind City.

22. Search for a Rabbit, Cow, Deer, and Fawn around the road and love them.

23. Fly to the area between this road and the road from Goldshire to Northshire Abbey.

24. Search for a Cat and love it.

25. Fly to the area just south of Goldshire.

26. Search for a Sheep and love it.

27. Fly to the Crystal Lake.

28. Search for a Small Frog and love it.

Westfall – Chicken, Shore Crab

29. Fly to the northern shore in Westfall.

30. Search for a Shore Crab and love it.

31. Fly to the Furlbrow’s Pumpkin Farm.

32. Search for a Chicken and love it.

Duskwood – Skunk

33. Fly along the northern shore of Duskwood.

34. Search for a Skunk and love it.

Swamp of Sorrows – Parrot

35. Fly to the area just west of the tower in Splinterspear Junction in Swamp of Sorrows.

36. Search for a Parrot and love it.

Loch Modan – Ram

37. Return to Stormwind City.

38. Take the portal from Stormwind City to Boralus.

39. Take the portal from Boralus to Ironforge.

40. Fly to Valley of Kings in Loch Modan.

41. Search for a Ram and love it.

How to Get the Achievement as Horde

To get this achievement as a Horde player, use the Alliance guide above, but

• Use the portals in Orgrimmar instead of the ones in Stormwind City
• Take a portal from Orgrimmar to Blasted Lands to get to Eastern Kingdoms.
