How to Activate War Mode in WoW

War Mode allows you to engage in World PvP, use your PvP talents, and increase your quest rewards and experience by 10%.

The ten-percent enlisted bonus from War Mode

If your faction is outnumbered, these bonuses will be doubled.

The Call to Arms bonus for War Mode

Activating War Mode

If your character is level 20 or higher, you can activate War Mode by:

1. Going to your faction’s main city (Stormwind and Orgrimmar for Alliance and Horde respectively).

2. Opening your Talents window.

3. Clicking the War Mode button in the bottom-right corner of the window.

Deactivating War Mode

To deactivate War Mode,

  1. Go to any rest area.
  2. Open the Talents window.
  3. Click the War Mode button in your Talents window.
