How to Change Your Loot Specialization in WoW

Your loot specialization allows you to receive loot that is designed for your class specialization.
To change your loot specialization,
- Right-click your character portrait in the top-left corner of the interface.
2. Mouse over the “Loot Specialization” option.
3. Click your desired loot specialization.
Which Loot Specialization Should You Choose?
I highly recommend choosing the “Current Specialization” option. As the name suggests, this option ensures that you always receive gear that is relevant to your current specialization.
If you defeat an enemy that drops loot and then change your loot spec, the loot will not change retroactively.
Can You Change Your Loot Specialization in Combat?
Yes – just make sure you change your loot spec before defeating an enemy that may drop your desired loot.
Can You Change Your Loot Specialization in Dungeons and Raids?
Yes, even while in combat.
